The beginning: Legal security and technical basics. In these first few years, all the key foundations were laid to support a responsible project. These include Securing the state mining licence Preparation of all legally required environmental and safety studies (EIA, PGR, PGA, SHE, PRAD) Analyses of the initial geological situation Initial mobilisation and stakeholder consultations Establishment of a reliable compliance and documentation framework Essence: A stable foundation that combines responsibility, transparency and legal compliance.
Understanding before we move. The project has been formally in the prospecting phase since 2021. This time was used for: In-depth geological investigations Airborne electromagnetic analyses Validation of geological structures (Lucapa & Kwango Fault) Detailed mapping of the licence area Reassessment of technical and logistical requirements Special feature: Operational work has been suspended since 2022 due to a lack of investment funds. However, this pause was used to consolidate data, sharpen models and minimise risks. Essence: Substance comes from precision. Prospecting forms the basis of every responsible decision.
Planning ahead to be ready in 2026. While no active work was taking place on site, the time was used strategically to strengthen all preparatory processes: Revising technical operating procedures Optimisation of the planned road and camp infrastructure Revision of the procurement strategy for machinery & mobile equipment Reorganisation of supply chains and partnerships In-depth preparation of environmental management processes (water, air, biodiversity, waste) Development of a scalable safety and labour concept Essence: Progress also occurs when it grows structurally in the background.
The return to the field. Precise. Targeted. 2026 marks the planned return to operational implementation: Resumption of work on site Construction and repair of the main access routes Construction of the base camp & core infrastructure Preparation of the mining zones (starting point block 6a) Technical installation: water, energy and communication systems Establishment of a controlled, environmentally compliant camp operation Essence: Infrastructure means safety, efficiency and the basis for all future steps.
From an organised start to sustainable growth. After the infrastructural restart, the actual development of the project begins: 2027-2028 - Exploration phase Construction & commissioning of the washing plant Start of bulk sampling Process validation (throughput, carats/100 tonnes, water cycles) Extension of the prospection in further zones Introduction of digital monitoring standards 2028-2030 - Scaling & sustainable operation Gradual expansion of production capacities Continuous recultivation according to PRAD Optimisation of resource efficiency (water, energy, waste) Strengthening local partnerships and social projects Establishing long-term supply relationships with government agencies (ENDIAMA, SODIAM) Essence: A company that grows with responsibility - and whose development is always characterised by environmental standards, efficiency and transparency.
