Conflict-free trade with Diamonds and gold - Clearly regulated, fully traceable

Responsibility does not begin with mining, but with trading. Ares Maximus is committed to a commodities business that combines transparency, fairness and legal integrity. We act No conflict minerals. Every diamond and every gram of gold undergoes clearly defined, state-controlled and internationally recognised processes.

Diamonds: No conflict diamonds - full certification

All diamonds are traded exclusively through Angola's authorised structures.
This includes the marketing channel SODIAM, which is subject to the international control system of the Kimberley Process is subject to. Every export is subject to a Kimberley certificate, which confirms the conflict-free origin in a legally binding manner.
The result is a trade that protects raw materials - and creates trust.

Gold trading: Licensed, audited and legally compliant

Trading in gold in Angola follows a clear regulatory framework based on the Mining Code (Lei 31/11) and the specific trading regulations for gold and diamonds.
Ares Maximus works exclusively with companies that have the following state-issued licences:

Gold trading licence - Comercialização de Ouro

Necessary for purchase, holding, transport and sale.
It is a prerequisite:

  • An Angolan company (LDA)

  • Clean company register & tax registration

  • Proof of legal origin

  • Compliance documents (safety, environment, governance)

  • Financial performance

Gold export licence - Licença de Exportação de Ouro

Required for any legal export.
This includes:

  • Proof of origin (Certificado de Origem)

  • Certificate of analysis (assay)

  • Authorisations from environmental and safety studies

  • Export declaration via AGT (customs)

  • Foreign exchange settlement via banks in accordance with BNA

  • Cooperation with registered security services

Official trading channels - in particular via the state gold company ENSA - ensure traceability and prevent non-transparent structures. Every step remains documented, checked and auditable.
